Abstract:

The flora of Kot Manzaray Baba Valley was studied with respect to its floristic composition. The flora consisted of 279 species of 229 genera belonging to 81 families. Out of 81 families 69 were dicotyledonous, consisting one hundred and eighty one genera and two hundred and twenty four species, while 11 families were monocot with 54 species of 47 genera. Only one family Pinaceae was represented by gymnosperms. Maximum genera and species were in case of Poaceae. In Dicot thirty six families while in Monocot seven families and in Gymnosperms one family was represented by single genus and single species.
