Abstract:
In Pakistan, the biggest reserves of magnesite occur in Hazara District, the magnesite contains dolomite and soap stone as the major impurity. The mining, beneficiation and calcination of this ore will lead to contribute towards improving Pakistan's economy. The properties of magnesite in general and from Hazara District discusses the extent and effect of impurities in it, Methods of magnesite mining, its beneficiation and calcination have been suggested with particular reference to magnesite from Hazara District.
