Abstract:
From the analysis made, it is clear that an over estimation of maximum flood has been done. Rather 100% increase on the ever recorded Max. Flood discharge has been taken into account while designing the capacity of spillway and flood absorption capacity. Such 100% increase means more than 100% in the cost of construction and maintenance.
