Abstract:
Actinomycetales were isolated from three different soil samples according to standard techniques. Ninety-two isolates were extensively characterised as streptomycetes. Identifications to species were made according to the systems of Pridharn et al., Hutter, and the International Streptomyces Project. Of the 102 Actinomycetales isolated only ten were non-streptomycetes.
