Abstract:
This paper examines the role played by Sukkur Barrage in changing the landscape of Sind province. The construction of the Barrage completely revolutionised the hydraulic regime and whole landscape in river basin. It is also found that the construction of Sukkur Barrage not only changed the atmosphere of the area but also protected the area from yearly floods and reduced a number of agricultural diseases. Prosperity to Sind province was also brought by this Barrage on a large scale.
