Abstract:
Occurrence of urethral polyps is rare in children. We report a case of a urethral polyp in which the child presented with a worm like structure protruding from the urethral meatus. Cystoscopic resection was not possible due to the large size of the polyp as bladder exploration through suprapubic approach was required for the excision of polyp. Recovery was uneventful and patient was asymptomatic after 6 months, follow-up.
