Abstract:
C.S. Hoo6 gave the concept of a closed ideal. It is still not obvious that all ideals are closed. Thus a natural question arises which ideals are always closed. We gave the notion of a strong ideal and proved that it is always closed4. In this paper we introduced the concept of a weak ideal and classify it into two types, namely weak ideals of type-I and weak ideals of type-II. We also show that every weak ideal of type-I is always closed.
