Abstract:
The effect of the various enamel-forming oxides, and of methods of processing and compounding, upon colour, gloss, surface smoothness and resistance towards the acid of enameled plates has been studied. As a result a number of enamel compositions possessing excellent physical and chemical properties have been developed. Some common defects were also studied.
