Abstract:
Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhizal infection was noticed in simple rhizoids and ventral portions of thallus of Dumortiera hirsuta. Thick walled, darkly stained internal hyphae and different shapes of vesicles were observed in the thallus and simple rhizoids. Some vehicles were exhibiting the cell shape of thallus. Arbuscules were totally absent. Spore like structures of different shapes and sizes were regularly noted.
