A contribution to the biology of Leptodius exaratus (A.M. EDW)

Abstract:
629 male and 531 female crabs were collected from rocky sea shores of Karachi (Manors & Paradise Point) to investigate the sex ratio and size frequency of the most common xanthid crab of Karachi sea shores. 15 mm to 21 mm was the normal size, while 6 mm and 39 mm have been recorded as the smallest and biggest sizes. Average male is larger than average female. Sex ratio is 1:1.2.
