Abstract:
Aldosterone added in vitro increased potassium secretion without affecting sodium and fluid transport of colon sacs prepared from adrenalectomized and nephrectomized rats. The effect of aldosterone on potassium transport, observed after two hours delay, is independent of its action on sodium transport.
