Abstract:

The allelopathic effects on Citrus aurentium L. leaves extract upon Pennisetum americanum (L.) Schumann were tested in standard filter paper bioassay, which resulted in the inhibition of growth of the plumule and the radicle. The growth of the plumule was reduced to 65. 5% of control whereas the growth of the radicle was reduced to 37.83% of control.
