Abstract:
The natural vegetation and ecological conditions of the north eastern parts of Afghanistan are described. The ecological conditions and vegetation types of Afghanistan compare well with those in the adjoining parts of West Pakistan. However, the biotic interference, in general, seems to be more severe in Afghanistan than in Pakistan.
