Abstract:
Data on the geographical distribution of wildlife of Pakistan has been collected and systematically classified. It can essentially form the basin of planning the wildlife preservation and management. Except for the ocean and some fresh-water habitats, all are found in the country and recorded under their respective climatic zones. For every habitat given, the typical plants, particularly trees and shrubs, are recorded under the habitat and its associated wild life. In total, 92 birds and 60 reptile and mammal species have been catalogued.
