Abstract:

A 47-year-old man presented to his general physician with long-standing dry cough and was advised simple chest X-ray. At the time of the chest discomfort, the patient smoked 20 cigarettes per day. The remaining family and medical history was unremarkable. Physical examination results and laboratory data were normal. An incidental lesion was found in the superior mediastinum on a chest radiograph obtained as an initial test in our department. Further evaluation was required by CT.
