Abstract:

Abutilon muticum (DeLex.DC.) Sweet generally considered conspecific with either Abutilon pannosum (Forst.f.) Schl. or Abutilon glaucum (Cay.) Sweet is considered here as a distinct species. The type specimens of the important taxa have been critically examined.
