Abstract:
Gravity observations were made on some 500 very precisely located stations. The residual gravity map thus prepared showed gravity anomalies of the order of 1.5 mgal. Three different methods of second derivative were applied, but the contour pattern was not changed appreciably. The gravity picture showed a few positive anomalies of the order of 1.5 to 2.0 mgal, which were probable places of chromite concentration.
