Abstract:

Osteoprosis in post-menopausal women is more frequent than in elderly men. An unusual case was recorded. A man was found with marked osteoporosis and vertebral collapse to backache which had occurred following bilateral orchidectomy a few years earlier. He responded well to treatment, particularly to anabolic.
