Abstract:

Sixty-two cases of transverse lie were studied with an average incidence of 1:250. The different aetiological factors predisposing to transverse lie were analysed and an attempt to review the medical literature on this topic was made. The management of transverse lie is discussed at length and the modern approach is out-lined (PJMR Vol. 19 41, 1980).
