Taxonomic Studies in Copepoda (Calanoida and Cyclopoida).

Abstract:
The following species though already described and listed from other countries are being recorded for the first time from Punjab, Pakistan. 1) Diaptomous purpureus March. 2) Diaptomus amatitlanensis Wilsou. 3) Mesocyclops tenuis Marsh. 4) Macrocyclops a. bidus Jurine. The following species after having been thoroughly examined are described as new: 1) Ectocylops clausi sp. nov. 2) Ectocyclops bradyi sp, nov. 3) Ectocyclops (Sinocyclops) sarsi sp. nov. 4) Ectocyclops (Sinocyclops) forbesi sp. nov. 5) Paracyclops yeatmani sp. nov. 6) Paracyclops rehbergi sp. nov. 7) Cyclops (Diacyclops) landei sp. nov. 8) Hallcyclops wilsoni sp. nov.
