Abstract:
The mortality figures of Europe are given which show that the tuberculosis cycle takes 300 years to complete. It is stated that as long as the tubercle bacillus is present anywhere in the world and so long as man as a host is available and so long as tuberculosis does not change its hostility towards man there cannot be any end to tuberculosis problem. The basic means of combating the disease are discussed.
