Abstract:

The solar eclipse on 23rd November 1965 was photographed at different times and positions by a quartz spectrograph. Absorption spectrum of the earth's atmosphere was studied and the photodissociation in molecules of N20 present at various ionosphere layers was investigated. Presence of oxygen-isotopes was studied for confirmation.
