Abstract:
In 35 durum types there was enough variability in 6 traits except in ears per plant. Fifteen coefficients show the degree of correlation between six agro-nomic characters. Yield was positively and significantly correlated with plant height and ears per plant; and positively and non-significantly correlated with grains per ear and 100-grain weight. Plant height per plant and 100-grain weight seem to be the best criteria for selection in durum types studied.
