Abstract:
The ultraviolet band spectra of K2 molecule has been investigated in the absorption in the region 3070-3890Ao using a 3.4 m Ebert spectrograph in the first order giving reciprocal desperation of 5.1Ao mm-1. The spectrum was recorded with an exposure time of 20 to 30 minutes on Kodak X-Omat X-ray plates. A high pressure xenon are (450 W) served as the background source. The E-X, F-X and G-X systems have been reproduced. This work reports the vibrational analysis of G-X system. A number of bands have been discovered in the G-X system, which are not reported previously. Vibrational analysis was performed using computer programming.
