Abstract:
A new species of Anasida Karsch of the tribe Asopini Amyot et Serville of Pentatominae Leach is described with special reference to its metathoracic scent gland ostioles and male and female genitalia. The new species is compared with the only other species A. orientalis Diatant known froth Dharwar, Bombay in India and with another oriental species p. phypothalamo fallax Schouteden under a brief systematic note on the included taxa. This is the first record of the genus from Pakistan.
