Abstract:
A sudden transfer of a living organism from one climate to another produces an imbalance in its systems and reactions to certain drugs. This condition is controlled by metabolic process. Thus, the rate of drug metabolism may change due to variation in climatic conditions such as temperature, humidity and pollution. By slow migration, the body adapts itself to changing conditions and thus the sensitivity to drugs is modified.
