Design & implementation of water quality monitoring & evaluation system to predict water pollution

Abstract:
Water quality and monitoring plays a crucial role in ensuring safety and sustainability of water resources. In this context, the development of a water monitoring device equipped with temperature, pH, and turbidity sensors has become essential. This abstract presents an overview of such a device designed, which continuously monitor water quality parameters and provide real-time data for analysis and decision-making. The water monitoring device incorporates three key sensors: a temperature sensor, a pH sensor, and a turbidity sensor. The temperature sensor accurately measures the temperature of the water, providing important information for various applications such as aquatic ecosystems, industrial processes, and drinking water quality. The pH sensor enables the measurement of the acidity or alkalinity of the water, which is crucial for determining its suitability for various purposes, including aquatic life support, agriculture, and industrial processes. The turbidity sensor measures the cloudiness or opacity of the water caused by suspended particles, providing insights into water quality, sediment levels, and the effectiveness of filtration systems. The device is designed with an integrated microcontroller and wireless communication module to collect data from the sensors and transmit it to a centralized monitoring system or a connected device. The collected data can be visualized and analyzed in real time, allowing for immediate detection of any anomalies or deviations from desired water quality standards. The monitoring system can also be configured to send alerts or notifications when certain thresholds or predefined limits are exceeded, ensuring proactive response and mitigating potential risks.
