Abstract:
An electromagnetic compatibility facility has recently been constructed in EED, University of Engineering and Technology Lahore. It is designed to operate over a wide frequency range from 9 KHz through 40 GHz. This can be used both for experimental and commercial purposes. For radiated emissions OATS (Open area test site, specifically built on the roof top) is used such that no first order and or second order reflections (except those reflected from the floor) will propagate into the zone of interest.
