A new species of the genus listriodon from the nagri formation of middle siwaliks, district Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan.

Abstract:
A new pig Listriodon falconers is described from Nagri formation of the middle Siwaliks. It is larger than Listriodon theobaldi and smaller than Listriodon pentapotamiae. This new species is differentiated from the Listriodon pentapotamiae on the basis of morphology of the premolars and molars. P2 is elongated, P3 almost rectangular, P4 with well developed hypocone ridge., and Molars are without rudimentary accessory cusps.
