A revision of a little known genus Abulfeda Distant (Hemiptera: Pyrrhocoridae) with description of three new species from Indo- Pakistan subcontinent.

Abstract:
The monotypic and a little known genus Abulfeda Distant with type A. punctatus Distant alongwith three new species Assamensis, lndicus and pakistanensis from Assam, south India and Pakistan respectively are described with special reference to their scent gland auricles and male and female genitalia. A key to all the four species of Abulfeda is given and in the light of the above characters their relationships are also briefly discussed.
