Abstract:
Very well preserved and excellently fossilized maxillary isolated teeth belonging to the genus Equus are described from Sardhok, Gujrat District, the Punjab Province, Pakistan. A Comparison of the specimen under study with the known material of the genus Equus has shown that they are referable to the species Equus sivalensis. This material gives additional information on the species Equus sivalensis and is being described for the first time from Pakistan.
