Abstract:

A compendium of the genus Helicotylenchus with pertinent morphological data derived from the original descriptions is presented on nominal species of Helicotylenchus in tabular form to be used in the identification of species. The tabular key is based on 16 diagnostic characters. Illustrations for species have been provided to facilitate the identification. A list of 190 valid species is given.
