Abstract:
Neuromorphological studies were conducted on 20 adult male rabbits weighing 1 to 1.5kgs. The neuronal composition of cortical amygdaloid nucleus was studied by Golgi staining method. The neurons were classified into six groups, large neurons, medium-sized neurons, small pyramidal neurons. The classification was based on their body size and ramification of their dendrites. The results are compared with the neuron types of basolateral amygdala of rabbit described previously.
