A study of perceived organizational & supervisor support about employees in banking sector of Pakistan.

Abstract:
The objective of this study is to check the effect of job autonomy, job security and employee training on POS (perceived organizational support) and PSS (perceived supervisor support) in banking sector of Pakistan. In this regard this research has proposed three hypotheses. Findings of the study describes that these entire hypothesis are accepted. Job autonomy and job security has strong impact on perceived organizational support. And employee training has weaker impact on perceived organizational support. Moreover, job autonomy has significant impact on PSS. And impact of job security on PSS is also significant. Furthermore, employee training has weaker impact on perceived supervisor support. Data was collected with the help of structured questionnaire. Questionnaire was composed of 14statements.These statements were adopted from previous researches. Present study is adding to the body of literature by evaluating job autonomy, job security and employee training on POS (perceived organizational support) and PSS (perceived supervisor support) in Pakistani cultural context.
