Abstract:
Forty three species belonging to fifteen (15) genera were recorded from Wah Gardens Hassan Abdal District Attock. The algae belonged to Cyanophyceae were Oscillatoria (11Spp), Nostoc (1Sp), Lyngbya (2), Hormidium (1), Stigonema (1). Cloloropyceae includes Ulothrix (5Spp), Oedogonium (1Spp), Microthamnion (1), Spirogyra (9 Spp), Cladophora (4Spp), Hydrodicityon (1 Spp) and Zygnema (3 Spp). Bacillariophyceae includes Diatoma (1 Sp), Nitzschia (1Sp.). Charophyceae includes Nitella (1Sp).
