Abstract:
The effect of triple superhosphate and urea in single or incombination was tested on growth of plant, leaves, yield of seed and oil contents, seven different combination of fertilizers viz urea (single dose) urea (double dose), triple superphoshate (single dose) mixed (double dose) and Farm Yard manure were used. The application of Mixed (triple superphosphate urea) in (double dose) produced the tallest plants, and the seeds have high yield of oil as compared to other fertilizer levels. The quality of the oil as indicated the refractive index and specific gravity was not affected by the application of any fertilizers.
