Abstract:
Describes the causes and the methods of treatment of the disease. Chloromycetin, when used for the treatment of goldfish fry at a concentration of 30 milligrams per imperial gallon of water, checks the activity of bacteria in 23 hours and cures adult goldfish in six days. Application of Chloromycetin in low health conditions and with advanced attack of tail and fin-rot may not tolerate chloromycetin at a concentration of 30 mgm. per imperial gallon. Acriflavin had good curing effect on the goldfish fry having mild attack of tail and fin-rot.
