Two new nematode parasites of the family Camallanidae from marine fishes of Pakistan.

Abstract:
Two new species of nematode parasites from the intestine of marine fishes of Pakistan belonging to the genera Camallanus and Procamallanus of the family Camallanidae are described. Camallanus qadrii from Pseudosciaen diacanthus, is characterised by having longitudinal rides, unequal prongs, equal specules and vulva in the anterior half of the body. Pracamallus otolithi from Otolithus argcnteus is characterized by possessing buccal capsule with teeth like structures, unequal and dissimilar specules, tip of tail forked and numerous caudal papille.
