Abstract:
It is a study on the feasibility of obtaining closer spacing in geostationary orbit and there is satisfactory co-existence including a closer examination of techno-economic implications particularly for developing countries in order to ensure the most effective utilisation of this orbit in the interest of all countries. The review does not deal in depth any aspect but identifies various technical planning and economic factors that could significantly influence the feasibility of closer spacing of satellites.
