Abstract:

Anchon malakandensis is described as new species from Batkhela, Mala-kand in NWFP with special reference to its posterior process and male genitalia. A. bucktoni Goding is newly recorded from Bangladesh and is redescribed for its above characters are unknown. These are compared with their close allies A. ulnifrome Buckton and A. echinatum Distant respectively and a brief systematic note is given on their species groups within the genus Anchon Buckton. This is the first record of the genus from the two countries.
