Abstract:
The structure of Quetta Valley came out to be not as intricate as it was supposed to be due to its proximity to Sibi wedge. The Chiltan, Murdar Ghar and Takatu are the major anticlinal folds of the area intervened by the Quetta synclinorium. However, the detail of the structure with elements of f olds, faults, culminations and depression in respect of their origin and a typical mode of occurrence in the area has been explained.
