Two new species of the genus Lecithocladium Lune, 1901 (Digenia; Hemiduridae) from marine fishes of Karachi coast, Pakistan.

Abstract:
Two new species, Lecithocladium stromatei and Lecithocladium arabicum are described from the intestine of marine fishes of Karachi coast, Pakistan. Lecithocladium stromatei from Stromateus niger is characterized by smooth cuticle, genital pore at the side of oral sucker and intestinal caeca not extended upto the posterior end of tail. Lecithocladium arabicum from Caranx ajedaba is characterized by possessing annulated cuticle and intestinal caeca extended upto the posterior end of tail.
