Abstract:

Adsorption of various organic acids (monobasic and dibasic) from aqueous solution on charcoal has been studied by the usual titration method. The Freundlich and Langmuir plots have been drawn and the constants involved were used to throw light on the mechanisms and the nature of forces involved in adsorbate adsorbent interactions.
