A checklist to the flora of Attock Nizampur Valley, district Peshawar.

Abstract:
The present report consists of the floristic composition of Attock Nizampur valley. Three hundred and five species of different taxa were found distributed in 53 families of Dicotyledoneae, including one family of Gymnospermeae and 13 families of Monocotyledoneae. The largest family was Poaceae, followed by Brassicaceae, Asteraceae and Fabaceae. The list is helpful in shortlisting the species found in this valley. It will help the forest and wildlife managers in their efforts for improving the wealth of the area.
