Abstract:
Five exotic and one local chilli cultivars were assessed under the agro-climatic conditions of D.I. Khan. From the research findings it was found that cultivar NUMEX Conquistador gave maximum plant height (73.60 cm), spread (40.78 cm), fruit size (13.84 cm), moisture percentage (75.72), fresh (5.63 t/ha) and dry (11.61 q/ha) yield as well as minimum days to flowering (45) and fruit setting (7). Hence it is the most pertinent variety for better yield and quality for this locality.
