A scheme for the conversion of Analogue-to-Digital signal is developed and tested. This scheme is different from other systems in the sense that it compares all residues with one reference only. Because of this fact each stage of conversion can be cascaded with one another. Since this system is independent of pulse rate, the speed of the conversion rate can be increased up to the limitations of the components. The economic aspects are also considered and a prototype model is built using TTL IC components.
