To study the effect of nitrogen and phosphorus levels on yield and yield components of Glycine max L. field experiment was conducted during 1987 and 1988, at Latif Experimental Farm of Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam. Four NP fertilizer combinations, viz., 0-0, 37.50- 75.00, 75.00- 112.50 and 112.50- 150.00 were tested. All the yield and yield components were significantly affected by NP combinations. Maximum seed yield of 1.40 m.t. and 1.55 m.t. per hectare was recorded at 75 kg N and 112.50 kg P2O5 per hectare respectively under Tandojam conditions.
